My Story

I engage, empower, and enable adult learners with concise writing, clear design, and creative solutions. I create engaging content that empowers adult learners to take an active role in their learning. I combine adult learning theory, concise writing, and clean design so the learner can focus on the content.

Highlights include: 

• Developed courses for technical audiences, including cloud cybersecurity admins and Google data center employees 

• Created virtual instructor-led courses on career-related topics for professionals in boot camps and degree programs

• Designed microlearning content for self-motivated learners as a volunteer for Rumie Learn  

• Wrote blogs and LinkedIn articles for career changers 

Multiple career paths led me to instructional design. As a career coach, I’ve spoken with thousands of adults changing or advancing their careers, and their passion and curiosity for learning have continually inspired me. I draw from my experience in coaching, psychology, consultative sales, and EdTech. I earned a master's degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University.
